Indian cricket fans were turned away from the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday for wearing the 'Team India' jersey. They were not allowed to watch the final of the Asia Cup between Sri Lanka and Pakistan and were allegedly 'pushed away' from the premises.

A group of Indian fans shared their ordeal in a video posted by the Bharat Army on Twitter, "We were not allowed inside the stadium and cops were pushing us saying ‘India go out, go back. Don’t wear this jersey.” the fan said.

The Bharat Army said that no directives or instructions were given beforehand regarding only Pakistani and Sri Lankan jerseys being allowed inside the stadium. They also tagged the ICC and Asian Cricket Council in the caption of the video and urged them to further investigate the matter.
