Ashes 4th Test: English coach to miss Sydney Test amid Covid scare

English coach Chris Silverwood will not be participating in the upcoming Sydney Test which is set to begin from 5th January after another Covid positive case.

Silverwood has been asked to isolate for 10 days after one of his family members returned a positive Test for Coronavirus in the latest round of RT PCR testing in the Ashes camp. The Covid tally in the England contingent now stands at 7.

Covid scare hit the English camp during the Boxing Day Test, the matches went ahead despite positive results among the staff members as the playing XI had tested negative. 

As per the Covid norms, Silverwood would not travel to Sydney and would stay back in Melbourne
