After Michael Vaughan sparked speculations about David Warner's retirement and said that he had heard 'whispers' that the Aussie opener will hang up his boots after Ashes 2023, Warner responded to the claim.

Denying the rumours, the southpaw said that he doesn't have any such announcement to make.

Vaughan had also raised the possibility of Steve Smith's retirement, which was also brushed aside by Warner.

'Obviously, it's a joke. I won't take that too seriously,' he stated.
