Harry Brook responded to claims in the Australian media that England are 'bad losers' by pointing out that the 2023 Ashes series isn't over yet.

'We haven't lost yet! They've only retained it,' said the English batter.

England was five wickets away from winning the fourth Test at Old Trafford and levelling the series at 2-2, but persistent rain on days four and five led to an abandoned match, which meant Australia retained the Ashes with one match to spare.

While Brook and his team-mates cannot recapture the little urn this time around, they can at least draw the series by winning the final Test at The Oval in London, which gets underway on Thursday.
