It was a tough pill to swallow for England when rain snatched a golden chance from the hosts to level the Ashes series 2-2.
Joe Root also expressed his thoughts over rain washing out Day 5 of the 4th Ashes Test. During a chat with BCC, the former English skipper said, 'It doesn't get dark until 10 PM here in the summer. Why can't we play until the overs have been bowled?' questioned Root.
Former Australian cricketer Damien Martyn had a hilarious reply to this comment and he tweeted back by saying, 'You made the rules.'
