The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) on Monday, suspended 3 members for abusing and booing the Australian team while the players walked through the Long Room.

'They will not be permitted back to Lord's whilst the investigation takes place,' stated the MCC.

The Aussies beat England in the 2nd Ashes Test but it was overshadowed by a controversial Johny Bairstow dismissal, which irked the English fans.

Khawaja was pulled back by security guards. Warner was also seen making a comment to some of the members, with security forced to step in. Following which, the MCC had earlier 'unreservedly apologised' to the Australian team.
