Former Indian captain Anjum Chopra was not happy with Indian opener Shafali Verma's display against Bangladesh in the 1st T20I and expressed her disappointment via her youtube channel.

Shafali Verma was sent back to the pavilion for a duck in India's 7-wicket win against Bangladesh on July 9.

Chopra said, "Shafali Verma committed the same mistake once again. She played around the front pad and got out lbw without opening her account. It will create an impact that she got out for a duck and the bigger impact will be created because of the way she got out. It means you have not worked on yourself and if you have done, it was not enough."

Anjum further advised Shafali to work on her technical deficiencies in the upcoming matches.
