Andrew Flintoff made his first public appearance in 9 months as the former English all-rounder was seen during England vs New Zealand 1st ODI on Friday.

Flintoff is recovering from serious injuries sustained while filming for the BBC show Top Gear in December. He was airlifted to hospital after he crashed a car and broke his ribs and suffered facial and jaw injuries.

Freddie joined England's backroom staff in an unofficial, unpaid role for their four-match ODI series against New Zealand.

Flintoff is not likely to travel to the World Cup in India next month.
