Black Caps star Jimmy Neesham has joined Trent Boult in declining a central contract offer by New Zealand Cricket.

Neesham has instead chosen to honour his pre-existing T20 league commitments all around the world.
The 31-year-old who was initially left out of the 20-man central contract list, was offered the choice to sign one now but chose not to do it.

Neesham said that he had planned on accepting a contract in July but after NZC left him out of the list, he chose to sign up with T20 leagues around the world. And even when the board came calling, Neesham chose his pre-arranged agreements instead of re-signing the central contract.

The Kiwi all-rounder though can be picked by the board whenever he's available for selection.
