Afghanistan, which is currently using Dubai as its adopted home, might host their home games in India in 2024.

According to a report in Jagran News, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is already in talks with the BCCI to make this happen.

The report added that since their agreement with the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has come to an end, hence they are looking to host their home games in India.

The reason why Afghanistan doesn't host its home games in their own country is because of the ongoing security situation.

The India board has helped Afghanistan cricket in recent times and had even allowed their under-19 and under-17 teams to practice in India. Moreover, the Afghanistan national cricket team hosted Bangladesh in a 3-match T20 series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun in 2018.
