Ross Taylor has been making headlines ever since his autobiography, Ross Taylor: Black & White came out. It has sparked another controversy as the former New Zealand cricketer claimed that a Rajasthan Royals owner slapped him.

Taylor revealed that after he got out for a duck in a game against Punjab in Mohali and Rajasthan lost the encounter, one of the Royals owners told him that they didn't pay him a million dollars to get a duck and slapped him across the face three or four times.

'He was laughing and they weren't hard slaps but I'm not sure that it was entirely play-acting. Under the circumstances I wasn't going to make an issue of it, but I couldn't imagine it happening in many professional sporting environments,' Taylor added.

After first 3 season with the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Taylor was bought up by the Rajasthan Royals for USD 1 million.
