'2023 I'm ready': England pacer Jofra Archer eyes strong comeback

Jofra Archer, England's ace paceman eyes a strong comeback after staying out for almost 21 months due to his injuries.

Taking to Twitter, the 27-year-old shared images of how he battled his injuries and went on to proclaim in the caption that he is ready.

The English cricketer's last couple of years were plagued by injuries to his elbow and lower back. His last international appearance was in March 2021. 

Archer who was England's leading wicket-taker in their 2019 ODI World Cup triumph was seen in action in Abu Dhabi in November when he trained there with the Test squad.

After playing in the inaugural SA20 in January, Archer will make his international return against South Africa for the ODI series, starting January 27.
