India's 2007 T20 World Cup-winning pacer Joginder Sharma announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on February 3.

'My journey from 2002 to 2017 has been the most wonderful years of my life,' the 39-year-old wrote in a letter addressed to BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

Joginder Sharma will forever be famous for bowling the final over of the inaugural World T20 where he got the last wicket of Misbah-ul-Haq to help India snatch a historic victory.

The pacer represented India in 4 ODIs and 4 T20Is but sadly, Sharma never played for India after the 2007 T20 World Cup.
