The postponed Asian Games will take place next year in Hangzhou after it was suspended on May 6 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases in China.

Now, Asiad's 19th edition will take place from September 23 to October 8 in 2023.

However, the new dates have come as a major headache for the Wrestling Federation of India.

Wrestling World Championship is scheduled to take place from September 16-24 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. The participants will then have to fly directly from Russia to China for the Asian Games. And the WFI is worried their wrestlers will not get enough recovery time.
