CWG Security Breach: Wrestling venue vacated for safety checks

The wrestling venue at the Commonwealth Games had to be vacated due to a likely security breach at the arena in Birmingham.

All wrestlers, officials & fans were asked to step out of the premises for the authorities to complete security checks.

United World Wrestling took to Twitter to make the announcement regarding the delay because of the safety checks inside the venue. The competitions were put on hold for one and half hours before the authorities were satisfied there was no threat and gave their go ahead for the matches to resume
