India are at the fifth spot on Commonwealth Games 2022 medal tally with 18 Golds, 15 Silvers and 22 Bronze medals. With four boxers in the fray to win the yellow metal, three of them went on to win Gold while one settled for a Silver. Pugilists Nitu, Amit Panghal and Nikhat Zareen won Gold but Sagar has to settle for a Silver. Indian women's hockey team, meanwhile, clinched Bronze along with shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and the pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand.

Eldhose Paul won a historic triple jump gold in a 1-2 finish for India as the country bagged four medals on a Super Sunday on the concluding day of athletics competitions at the Commonwealth Games 2022.

Moreover, Australia continue to be at the top spot with 174 medals, while hosts England have 166 medals. Canada are third with 91 medals, while fourth place is occupied by New Zealand.
