Asian Games 2023: Yashasvi Jaiswal smashes first T20I ton vs Nepal

The talented Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal came down heavily on Nepal as he smashed his maiden century in the shortest format of the game in the quarterfinals of Asian Games 2023.

The UP-born cricketer who became the youngest Indian to score a century at 21 years and 279 days notched up his ton in 47 balls, hitting 8 fours and 7 sixes. He is also the first centurion in the history of the quadrennial event.

He is now the 8th Indian to bring up a hundred in T20Is after Suresh Raina, KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill.
