After a long wait, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has confirmed the dates and venues of the upcoming Asia Cup.

The tournament will be held from August 31-September 17 this year ahead of the ODI World Cup in India in October-November.

The Asia Cup this time will be played under a hybrid model after the ACC accepted PCB's proposal of hosting a few matches in Pakistan.

While Pakistan will host the non-India matches during the group stage, the remaining 9 games will take place in Sri Lanka, including all the India-Pakistan matches.

The 2023 Edition will feature two groups, with two teams from each group qualifying for the Super Four stage. The top two teams from the Super Four stage will then face off in the final.
