Sony PS Vita will be discontinued soon in Japan

Sony has officially announced that it will be discontinuing its production of the Playstation Vita in Japan. Launched in 2011 in Japan and 2012 internationally, there are just two PS Vita models still in production- black and blue. The PS Vita struggled through its entire lifespan and was unable to compete with likes of the popular Nintendo 3DS. No end date is actually specified for stopping the manufacturing process.
