Taliban has asked Afghan women to stay at home until a proper security system is not in place as the insurgent group's soldiers are yet not trained to respect women.
Calling the move a very temporary procedure, Taliban spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid said that the Taliban were working on procedures for female government workers to return to their jobs.

However, he added that for now, they should stay at home for security reasons. The security forces are not trained in how to deal with women or how to speak with them, he added.
Although the Taliban has assured that, unlike last time, women will not be restricted from working and that the girls will be allowed to study, Afghan women are still fearful of the situation in the country.
