The big fight ended in a shock... UFC’s biggest ever star Conor McGregor suffered a painful defeat at the hands of Dustin Poirier in the UFC 264 trilogy fight on Sunday. The intense fight concluded with a doctor’s stoppage, as McGregor broke his left leg at the end of Round 1.

Even before the injury, Poirier dominated the Irishman, who was looking to win his 23rd professional fight.

While McGregor knocked out Poirier in their first meet when they fought a featherweight back in 2014, he lost the second one, when Poirier handed him the first Knockout of his 13 years of MMA career earlier this year.
