Domestic stock opened lower on Thursday as equities across Asia fell on concerns about fresh COVID-19-related lockdowns in Europe.
At 9:20 am, the Sensex was 389 points down at 39,533 and the Nifty dropped 0.82% to 11,633.
L&T, Titan, Tata Motors, Adani Ports and Bajaj Auto were the top losers.
