The Supreme Court of India has issued a notice to the makers of web series 'Mirzapur' & OTT platform Amazon Prime Video after a resident of Mirzapur filed a petition claiming the series maligns the image of Uttar Pradesh. Reports are the notice has been issued after the petitioner complained that Mirzapur had been portrayed in a bad light in the second season of web series. The petitioner reportedly alleged the city of Mirzapur has been shown as a den of terror and illegal activities.
