SBI hikes home loan rates as concession of mortgages wane

With limited period offers on concessional rates comes to a close, India’s largest lender State Bank Of India has raised rates on it’s ’teaser loans’.


SBI revised home loan rate to 6.95%, that is 25 bps higher than the 6.7% that was offered for a limited period till March 31. 


All eyes now on private sector lenders as concessions in home loans wane away, investors eye RBI meeting tomorrow for more direction on rates.
