At one post office in southwest France, 'Dear Santa' letters seem to be pouring in, bearing the emotional toll the pandemic has unleashed.

While some children have attached face masks inside the greeting cards sent to Santa, others expressed hope for the virus to no longer exist. One even wished her aunt never has cancer again.

The sorting office in France has been handling Father Christmas' mail since 1962. The team of 60 elves reply to 12,000 letter a day from all over the world and say it seems as if children are confiding their worries that they wouldn't have even shared with their parents.
