Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday clarified that the much-hyped and highly anticipated gathering at NCP supremo Sharad Pawar's residence is not an Opposition meet. The meeting hosted by Pawar under the Rashtra Manch banner is expected to be attended by several key opposition and civil society leaders.

Coming a day after Pawar met poll strategist Prashant Kishor, their second in two weeks, the meet has generated a lot of political buzz around attempts to forge a united Opposition alliance against the BJP.

Stressing that it is not an opposition parties meet Raut stated that SP, BSP, YSRCP, TDP and TRS are  not a part of the meeting. He further said that Pawar is a big leader and many people consult him on various issues, including politics and economy.
