Samsung has confirmed that its TVs will continue to run on Tizen, its in-house OS, denying all speculation about a possible move to Android TV.

Samsung recently partnered with Google for the next version of Wear OS, which its upcoming smartwatches will run instead of Tizen. However, a Samsung spokesperson said that Tizen still is the default platform for their smart TVs going forward.

Samsung has also experimented with phones that run Tizen in the past, which did not take off.
