A Bloomberg report claims that the rumoured blood sugar and temperature monitoring features may not make it to the Apple Watch for this year’s refresh.

Instead, the body temperature sensor might make it in for 2022. The blood sugar sensor is unlikely to be available for commercial use for many years, Bloomberg says.

The upcoming Apple Watch refresh for this year will focus on a better processor and an updated screen, with thinner borders. The watch will also include updated ultra-wideband functionality, as seen on the AirTags.
