Responses to two different RTI applications have revealed that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has not granted any permission to PUBG Mobile India. While PUBG corp announced last month that a specific game called PUBG Mobile India will be brought to the country, the Ministry has reportedly denied giving permission to any website, mobile apps or service with this name. PUBG Mobile was banned in the country in September along with other Chinese apps for reportedly engaging in activities prejudicial to India's sovereignty.
