Meghan Markle has accused the British Royal Family of fretting over how dark her son's skin would be. She made the revelation in a sensational interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Markle, who is African American, says her husband Prince Harry revealed his family's concerns over Archie's skin tone, as well as the security he would be entitled to, ahead of his birth in May 2019.
“They didn’t want him to be a prince or princess, not knowing what the gender would be, which would be different from protocol, and that he wasn’t going to receive security,” Meghan said.
The two-hour chat is the biggest royal interview since Harry's mother princess Diana opened up about her failing marriage to his father Prince Charles in 1995.
