Former Pakistan captain and renowned commentator Ramiz Raja was elected unopposed as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board for three years on Monday. The 59-year-old Raja replaced Ehsan Mani, who was also a former chief executive of the International Cricket Committee.
Speaking to media after his election, Raja opened up on the future of bilateral series between India and Pakistan. He said that it is impossible at the moment as the sporting model has been affected by politics. It's status-quo and we are in no hurry either, added Raja.
India last played a bilateral series vs Pakistan way back in 2012 but the two teams are due to face each other in the World T20 on October 24.
