Reuters: TSMC to build new chip $23 billion factory in US, not Europe

According to a Reuters report, Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC is planning to build a new chip factory in the US instead of Europe. While the firm announced a $10-12 billion investment last year for one chip factory in Phoenix, it's reportedly decided to build a new foundry next to it. The new plant will be make more advanced chips on the 3nm process, and will cost $23-25 billion.
