According to reports in the local Sri Lankan press, the national cricket team's batting coach Grant Flower has tested positive for Covid-19. Flower arrived in Sri Lanka a few days ago with the team from England and is undergoing quarantine in the team hotel. The entire Sri Lankan squad along with support staff have been asked not to leave their rooms until further notice. Reports suggest that Flower contracted the infection in England as 7 members of the English team tested positive including 3 cricketers. Local media reports say that the series against India comprising of 3 ODIs & 3 T20s in Colombo will go ahead as per schedule from 13th July.
