According to a report in Australia's Sydney Morning Herald, pacer Pat Cummins who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League won't return to play in the remainder of the tournament when it resumes in the UAE later this year. The report suggests that in order to manage the workload, the fast bowler will skip the tournament which restarts in September. Cricket Australia is also concerned about their players spending more time in a bio-secure bubble ahead of the World T20 which could also be shifted to the UAE.
