Tech news websites TechCrunch and Android Central have reported that OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei is no longer affiliated with the company.
The news was initially announced by Reddit poster JonSigur showing internal memos that did not mention Pei in the leadership role or as the Nord lead.
Carl Pei started OnePlus with Pete Lau in 2013, and according to TechCrunch, he’s leaving to start an unspecified new venture.
