A new leak indicates that Qualcomm will soon launch a successor to the popular Snapdragon 765 SoC, called the Snapdragon 775. The new premium mid-range processor may be fabricated on a 5nm process, an upgrade from the 7nm process used for the 765. It could also support LPDDR5 RAM at 3200Mhz, and two-lane UFS 3.1 storage. On the camera side, the Snapdragon 775 may support up to three 28MP sensors, or a 64MP primary and a 20MP secondary sensor. It would also support mmWave 5G. Android developer website XDA notes that the leak may be based on slightly outdated sources, and the specifications could change before the product is announced.
