American tech company Razer had introduced the high tech ‘Hazel’ face masks at CES earlier this year as a concept. Now, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan has told Yahoo Finance that the masks will actually go into production.
Expected to be as effective as an N95 mask due to its airtight nature, the Razer Hazel will feature detachable ventilators that Razer claims can filter up to 95% of airborne particles. The smart mask comes with a charging case that also sterilises the surface while charging.
The mask also offers a built-in mic and speaker which can amplify the user’s voice, along with customisable RGB lighting and a transparent design. Razer has not given any details about availability or pricing yet.
