Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been reportedly roped in for ace film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film 'Baiju Bawra'.
According to a report published in ETimes, an official announcement is in the offing.
Ranveer's wife Deepika Padukone has also reportedly come on board to play the role of dacoit queen, Roopmati.
'Baiju Bawra' will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s musical saga rendition that was earlier filmed by Vijay Bhatt in 1952.
The film will revolve around a young musician Baiju, who challenges the famous maestro Tansen in Mughal Emperor Akbar’s court to a musical duel to avenge his father’s death.
