A furious Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja on Tuesday expressed his disappointment and said that Pakistan has been 'used and then binned' after the English and Wales Cricket Board decided to call off men's and women's white-ball tour of Pakistan which was to take place in October.

Following New Zealand's decision to cancel their tour of Pakistan because of security concerns, England too cited 'increasing concerns about traveling to the region' for the cancellation. Raja who was evidently unhappy with the decision lashed out at both the cricketing boards and said, 'one feels slighted, one feels humiliated because withdrawal doesn't have an answer'.

The former Pakistani cricketer who especially felt let down by England's decision said, 'a little bit of hand-holding, a little bit of caring was needed after NZ pull out and we didn't get that from England, which is so frustrating'

Pakistan travelled to play against the English men in 2020, when Britain was struggling with Covid-19, thereby helping the country's cricketing board save millions in television rights deals.
