Another Indigo executive comes on- board Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's planned airline Akasa.

Ankur Goel, former head of treasury and investor relations at Indigo airlines joins Akasa as its Chief Financial Officer. The airline had also roped in former Indigo president Aditya Ghosh.
Akasa, which is founded by Jhunjhunwala alongside former Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube aims to start operating by summer next year, as per the reports.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala backed airline is also in negotiations with Boeing to add a 100 Max 737 aircraft.
Goel was a core member of the team that led IndiGo’s public listing in 2015 that raised Rs 3,000 crore followed by a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) in 2017 through which it raised around Rs 4,000 crore.
Jhunjhunwala has reportedly invested Rs 247 crore in the airline and is very bullish on India's aviation sector, which has been hit by the pandemic.
