'The Family Man 2' directors Raj & DK have issued a statement after Rajya Sabha MP Vaiko wrote a letter to I&B Minister, Prakash Javadekar, seeking a ban on the show for allegedly showing Tamilians in poor light.
Addressing the assumptions that are being made based on a couple of shots in the trailer, Raj & DK in the statement said that they are very cognizant of the sentiments of the Tamil people and Tamil culture and have nothing but the utmost love and respect for them.
Raj & DK further requested people to watch the show before making assumptions.
The second season of The Family Man is set for release in the first week of June and stars Manoj Bajpayee in the lead.
