As the Union ministry announced crossing the landmark milestone of administering 430 million vaccine doses, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday questioned the pace of Covid-19 vaccination in the country.
His tweet came just ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Mann ki Baat" monthly address.
He used the hashtag "WhereAreVaccines" to question the government and said had the PM listened to people's 'mann ki baat' the vaccination drive in the country wouldn't be in this state.
Rahul Gandhi also shared a video highlighting the alleged slow vaccination rate and media reports stating people were not getting vaccines across the country.
According to the graph shared by Gandhi, the required vaccination rate is 9.3 million per day and the actual rate in the last seven days is 3.6 million per day, with a daily shortfall in the last seven days being 5.6 million per day.
