Chipmaker Qualcomm has announced the Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders, a device catering to Qualcomm's 'Snapdragon Insiders' community. The smartphone has been developed in partnership with Asus, and features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen from Samsung, with a 2448 x 1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Snapdragon 888 chipset, with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. On the back, there's a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, and there's a 24MP sensor for selfies on the front. With a 4,000mAh battery and a $1,500 price tag, the Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders is expected to start shipping globally from August.
