Taylor Swift has kicked off Pride Month by lending her support to GLAAD's 'Summer of Equality' campaign, which aims to push the U.S. Senate to pass the Equality Act. This will essentially ensure comprehensive protections against discrimination for every queer American.

Tweeting her support to the campaign, Swift wrote that she wants to take a moment to thank the courageous activists, advocates and allies for their dedication to fighting against discrimination and hatred.

She added that she 'proudly' joins GLAAD in support of the Equality Act and wished her fans for Pride Month which is celebrated in June every year.
