Manchester City thrashed Brighton 4-1 to move up to the second spot on the Premier League points table on Saturday. Reigning champions City dominated the game from the start with Captain Ilkay Gundogan netting the ball in the 13th minute. Phil Foden further strengthened his side's play with a brace in the first half itself. The English footballer scored in the 28th and 31st minute.

While Allexis Mac Allister's late effort in the 81st minute couldn't help the Seagulls much, Riyad Maherez struck a Foden assisted goal to take the tally to a formidable mark of 4 in the last minute.
