Porn case: Shilpa Shetty goes to HC against media houses, demands 25 crore

As the alleged Raj Kundra pornographic case gets murkier with new details pouring in every day, actor Shilpa Shetty has moved Bombay High Court asking for compensation against defamatory content on social media and websites that she claimed has maligned her image.

Shilpa has demanded an unconditional apology from certain media houses, deletion of all defamatory content and a compensation of Rs 25 crores.

She has said that the statement on her involvement in the crime and investigation without verifying details has heavily damaged her character and reputation.

She has also suggested that certain sections of the media must permanently be restrained from publishing false content.
