Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address three outreach sessions at the G7 Summit over Saturday and Sunday. India has been invited as a guest country at the summit along with South Africa, Australia and South Korea.
The Prime Minister will attend the summit virtually.
On Friday, UK PM Boris Johnson opened the Summit in Cornwall with a message for the world leaders to “learn lessons" from the pandemic.
The G7 comprises world's richest nations, including US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan.
This is the second time PM Modi is participating in the G7 Summit. In 2019, India was invited to the Biarritz Summit under French presidency.
