PM's tribute to martyrs at National War Memorial on R-Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid homage to the fallen soldiers by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial at India Gate on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day. The Prime Minister was received at the war memorial by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, and the chiefs of the three Armed Forces. The National War Memorial has been built in memory of the soldiers who laid down their lives for the country post-independence. The prime minister also extended his warm wishes to the countrymen on Republic Day.
