As India turns 75 the Prime Minister addressed India Inc the mood was upbeat and one of optimism. PM Modi reassured the corporate India that the reform engine will continue to move ahead full speed. The economy PM Modi stated had already started showing signs of a strong recovery.
Speaking at the CII annual session, the Prime Minister reiterated that the govt has not done any reform in compulsion but the reform agenda is a sign of the govt's conviction. PM Modi reminded India Inc that they had the huge responsibility to lead the dream of Atmanirbhar Bharat and reassured that the govt will support industry in every way possible.
PM Modi also alluded to the recent rollback of retro-tax which has bought ease to the minds of foreign investors that had become vary of India due to the tax terrorism done by the past govt.
In a bold statement the Prime Minister said that the Govt is ready to take every risk possible and is ready to push every boundary for growth.
