Amid vaccine shortage in India, pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has clarified that it will supply Covid-19 vaccine only to central government & supra-national organistaions for deployment in national immunization programs.
The firm said allocation of doses & implementation plan within a country is a decision for local governments based on relevant health authority guidance.
The statement comes after Punjab and Delhi government said that pharmaceutical giants have refused to sell vaccines directly to the state governments.
